However, when Eda abruptly reveals that she and Lilith are leaving the Isles to attend to a "family business," the little girl is perplexed when her mentor refuses to allow her to accompany them. Luz and a few of her pals get onboard her mentor's cruiser as it prepares to sail away from port, suspecting Eda is concealing something. Meanwhile, Eda is preparing for her return to an old Island in the aim of rescuing the tribal people who have been stranded there.

Last Visit Date: May 31, 2018 We were fortunate and arrived to the park shortly after it opened, which meant there was almost no wait for Kong. It was fine; it's a decent ride with some suspense. Although the visuals are spectacular, I would never queue for it. I would have been enraged if I had waited more than 30 minutes.
While we wait for the official trailer, Legendary has released the first sneak look at Kong: Skull Island, which takes us behind the scenes of Jordan Vogt-Roberts' epic voyage into the core of King Kong's beginnings. The short provides our first look at the impending remake, with footage from the Vietnam set, interviews with cast and crew members, and Tom Hiddleston using a very hefty gun. The Kong: Skull Island sneak look reveals some stunning shooting locations and set pieces, including a more completed rendition of Kong's boneyard, which was previously seen in unauthorized set photographs. Unfortunately, we didnât see much footage from the actual film (apart from some very short peeks of what was being filmed on a monitor) and definitely no sightings of Kong. However, we do discover a bit more about the film and its characters.
Though we receive a fair taste of Kong immediately upon arriving on the island, as well as some very inventive views of the carnage he inflicts on the helicopters, we are then left with the film's less enticing meat: The team's two groups (Hiddleston, Larson, and Hawkins on one side; Jackson, Goodman, Jason Mitchell, and Shea Whigham on the other) attempt to meet at a meeting site after the Kong assault. Yes, there are some fantastic combat sequences with Skull Island's other inhabitants, like a big spider with legs that resemble bamboo trunks and pterodactyl-like birds (all homages to creatures from B-movies of the 1960s). However, despite the efforts of Vogt-Roberts and screenwriters Dan Gilroy, Max Borenstein, and Derek Connolly, there is absolutely no reason to care about the human characters.
