Mine arrived in excellent shape, looks absolutely stunning, and I'm delighted to report that this lot seems to have a superior application of paint on the lips than the first batch sent out. It's unfortunate that it omits the Atomic Breath effect. That is inexcusable. That's all; it comes with two alternative hands. Articulation is excellent, the paintwork is flawless, and the joints operate normally with an appropriate range of motion. I'm rather pleased with this. In response to the preceding page's topic about Mechagodzilla, I adore the Godzilla vs. Kong design. I like the old aesthetic, with its clunky and boxy appearance. It's almost as though we've returned to the Showa period. Previously, the tendency had been toward the futuristic and sleek, as seen by the Heisei, Millennium, and anime trilogy designs (even if the last one hardly even appeared in that form in the film). Not that futuristic is always terrible; I like Kiryu; he is one of the coolest-looking mecha in all of fiction and is my second favorite interpretation of the character (Showa reigns supreme). However, it's great to see Ready Player One, the MonsterVerse, and even Singular Point embrace this nostalgic style.
