Google Maps provides more detailed maps for almost every country on Earth. When an address is entered that occurs more than once on the planet, the search automatically incorporates the found alternatives and enables selection through a mouse click. Apart from the straightforward street map, the web application has a variety of map views for a variety of application areas. Thus, users may zoom in on satellite images using Google Earth, which is integrated as a plugin. With a Google Account required, one may easily save and re-visit one's favorite locations. Maps spickt Google Maps further with a plethora of interesting information and value-added services, such as a branchfinder for finding hotels, restaurants, and so on. The map-enabled service Street See provides high-resolution photographs of many streets and landmarks in major cities, allowing users to virtually roam around the streets or view 3D representations of architectural landmarks. Occasionally, Google Specials are included, such as the virtual tour of Venice or the very comprehensive photo tour of Angkor Wat in Cambodia.
Each card is adorned with a right-handed Maustaste in the manner of a 14-year-old: Maps may be switched between OpenStreetMap, OpenTopoMap, HikeBike, CyclOSM, or WorldImagery; zoomed in and out, maps can be sliced, waypoints can be established, coordinates or waypoints can be moved, and so on. Additionally, there is the ability to navigate through the created pathpoints list and replace or delete individual or all coordinates or pathpoints.
