The Lioness The Lion King, directed by Jon Favreau, travels to the African savanna to witness the birth of a future king. Simba looks up to his father, King Mufasa, and takes his own royal destiny seriously. However, not everyone in the kingdom rejoices at the advent of the new cub. Scar, Mufasa's younger brother and erstwhile heir to the kingdom, has his own intentions. The struggle for Pride Rock is marred by treachery, tragedy, and drama, culminating in Simba's banishment. With the assistance of a strange pair of newfound pals, Simba will need to learn how to mature and reclaim what is rightly his. Donald Glover stars as Simba, Beyonc Knowles-Carter as Nala, James Earl Jones as Mufasa, Chiwetel Ejiofor as Scar, Seth Rogen as Pumbaa, and Billy Eichner as Timon in the all-star cast. Fans, on the other hand, are OK suspending their views while viewing fairy tales, therefore this is not a major issue. Additionally, the original fairy tale that inspired The Little Mermaid is much darker than the Disney picture, so it's probably for the best that the studio altered the story somewhat. 12 ELSA HAS THIS
