Olivia Rodrigo Sour Album Wallpaper Aesthetic

MasochisticPunk 10 February 2022 Report on Caret's Ban I ordered this from Target's website and it arrived in a normal shipping box that was absolutely smashed. The record itself was in excellent shape, however the cover was entirely twisted and is in what I would describe as VG condition. Certainly not VG+. Simply VG. While I understand that the postal service is largely to fault, the fact that Target believed it was OK to put an LP in a regular box intended for shampoo or home supplies is a disgrace. This just adds to the stupidity and annoyance of them shipping my pre-order of Escape The Fate's "Dying Is Your Latest Fashion" in a real LP envelope. Were they just out of LP envelopes and sent Sour in an ordinary box, or did they simply not understand or believe that LPs should be shipped in a special LP mailer? In any case, it's infuriating, and I'll avoid getting LPs from Target in the future if possible.

Then there are the tunes that show promise. The tracklist makes it seem as if we are going to experience the five stages of sorrow, however this is not the case towards the conclusion. (In that regard, âhappierâ could have been a more appropriate landing spot.) âHope you're doing wellâ is a lovely title, but it's not for the person who shattered her heart; rather, she incorporates some startling outside voices, pondering about long-lost childhood pals who suffered cruelty and neglect at the hands of their parents. That approach worked well on Taylor Swift's âseven,â but it seems a bit fragmented here, despite the song's great closeness.

This was a MASSIVELY gratifying surprise. I had only heard Drivers License before to Olivia Rodrigo's appearance on Saturday Night Live. I loved her performance of Good 4 U on the program (as well as Drivers License) and decided to give SOUR a listen in the hope of discovering a few more gems. OMG! There are no duds here; each of the 11 tunes is an absolute delight of melodic music. At moments, she reminds me of Billie Eilish, and at others, Taylor Swift (and the slow, softer part of Good 4 U sounds like Marian Hill). While it may seem as like she is borrowing from these performers, she infuses everything with her unique style, which is almost guaranteed to garner her multiple Grammy nods this year. Who Is the Best New Artist? Year's best album, song, or record? I find it difficult to believe she will not be nominated in all four of those categories. This is an outstanding first album. Musically and thematically, the songs are quite approachable. The only criticism I have is that it is only 35 minutes long, but I've had it on repeat for five days and haven't grown tired of it yet, so it's a very good 35 minutes!
