Following the conclusion of the Rod, Jane, and Freddy Show, the three shifted their focus to British children's theatre and pantomime. Additionally, the three starred in Peter Kay's 2007 Comic Relief video for I'm Gonna Be (500 Miles). Rod, Jane, and Freddy appeared on Sky's program 50 Ways to Leave Your TV Lover in June 2008, where they discussed press reports that they were engaged in a love triangle. They said that Rod and Jane were previously married and subsequently divorced. Jane began dating Freddy shortly after he joined the trio, and their relationship developed into a marriage in May 2016.

Tucker told the newspaper that her husband died at a hospice earlier this year after being diagnosed with cancer, and that she and Burton had been grieving together.
