Appropriate: The official gin of FC Bayern München is produced by the Bayerische The Duke Destillerie. Specifically, the Duke directs his gratitude to Herzog Heinrich den Lwen, whom the Gr14nders send a letter of thanks for the Gr14ndung of the city of M14nchen. Where else, if not here, should the Gin be produced, despite the fact that the distillery has only been operating since 2008. The FC Bayern Munich Gin is produced using the London Dry method and is aged for about four weeks before being bottled. The recipe was developed in collaboration with the FC Bayern München and is also available as Liberalitas Bavarica Gin.
THE DUKE's German Gin-Pioniere have established themselves in Aschheim, in the eastern part of Munich, four years ago. In a charming denkmal-protected Backsteingebude with Schornstein, built in 1892 as a Kartoffelbrennerei. Innen, Holz, Kupfer, und warmes Licht contribute to a calming atmosphere. The distillery's history began in the heart of Munich, on a Maxvorstadt backstreet. âWe have developed ourselves independently ", erzhlt durch P14ckler. The romantic notion from years ago has matured, and with the relocation to Aschheim, we have put an age old vision of a glass manufacturing plant into practice. The customer may just stop by and see what we do via glass panels."
Numerous THE DUKE gin bottles have changed hands en route. Fortunately, this growth coincided with the revival of the traditional cocktail bar. Something that, happily, has witnessed a revival unparalleled in the last decade. Along with the Gin & Tonic, 1950s classics such as the Martini, Negroni, and Gimlet have been resurrected.
